  1. Archive completed or unnecessary tasks individually without archiving the whole list.

This feature allows users to archive individual tasks instead of archiving the entire task list, which provides more flexibility in task management and staying organized. Users can move completed, cancelled, or temporarily irrelevant tasks to an archive while keeping active and pending tasks visible in the main list. This helps reduce clutter, improves task visibility, and keeps the workspace clean and focused on current priorities. At the same time, archived tasks are not deleted, so users can still access task history for reference, tracking progress, audits, or restoring tasks if needed in the future. This improves overall usability, organization, and task lifecycle management within the application.

  2. Integration to Capacities.io app

Capacities is my PKM tool that works with objects, and it would be great to be able to add tasks which would be retrieved by Blitzit. They currently have an integration with todoist but they are planning to have their own task management system which could be linked to Blitzit.

  3. It seems the timer is visual, but the data logging stops after the first pause.

There is a bug with the resume function. If I pause a 30-minute task at the 15-minute mark and later resume it, the timer completes as expected, but the system only logs the initial 15 minutes instead of the full 30.

  4. Idea: Show the floating widget on all macOS desktops

I often use multiple virtual desktops (Spaces) on macOS and switch between them with trackpad swipes. Currently, the minimal floating widget in Btilzit (showing the current task and timer) stays only on the desktop where it was opened. When switching to another desktop, the widget disappears. It would be very useful if the widget could be visible across all desktops, so the current task and timer remain visible regardless of which Space is active. Some similar apps (for example Session) already show their floating timer on all desktops, which makes it much easier to keep track of time while switching contexts.

  5. Can't Miss reminder Feature

Whoa, I just saw this on the Hero assistant app! you can try it on this link: https://apps.apple.com/sr/app/hero-assistant-run-your-day/id6443412722 I bet people are gonna love it. Seriously, it's a lifesaver because the task and calendar reminders are seriously lacking for me, and I'm guessing for others too! Thanks.

  7. Search and instantly locate any task without scrolling through long lists

The search feature would allow users to quickly find specific tasks, lists, or notes/description by typing keywords, tags, or archived activities instead of manually scrolling through long task lists. This feature is important because it saves time, improves productivity, and helps users quickly access important or urgent tasks, especially when managing a large number of tasks. It also enhances user experience by making the app more efficient and organized, allowing users to focus on completing tasks rather than spending time trying to locate them.

  8. Deleting An Item REMOVES PAST TIME LOGS?!?!?!

Wow... I am astonished to discover that this is how the app behaves. I have handfuls of tasks that end up being larger (not simply completed after one day). I log multiple session to them, etc. Eventually they become stale or there's a more focused way to represent the work in my lists, so I delete them and create something more focused. I would assume that the time logged to the ticket stays as logged time information in the reports/session info. Yet it's not... This effectively means that Blitzit cannot be a reliable source for time tracking and logging. Shame. It's getting really frustrating. I try SO hard to like Blitzit, but left and right there are nuanced things that are major dealbreakers to my workflow. And the Blitzit team is incredibly slow at shipping meaningful fixes.

  9. Option to Show on All Desktops (MacOS)

For your users who use multiple desktop views, screens, etc - it is pretty frustrating to not have visibility of the Blitzit focus widget when switching screens. There should be a settings option to always show the Blitzit focus widget on the active desktop (or all desktops). More specific examples: any users who use window tiling managers like Yabai or Aerospace will not be able to see Blitzit if they switch active spaces. I tried to program the Blitzit focus window to follow/stick to desktops but it appears to not be possible based on Blitzit's infrastructure.

  10. Ability to add tags to the task

When I create multiple tasks in terms of one project, I would like to have the ability to segment tasks with some tasks (e.g. when I develop a single application, I would like to split tasks into backend, frontend, marketing, etc.) for more clarity

  11. Eisenhower Matrix: Prioritization Technique

Use this feature to help you quickly organize your tasks in order of priority by dragging into relevant buckets that help you decide how important a task is. Based on this tasks will automatically move to specific schedules or list columns.

  13. Gmail integration

I’m actually switching from Sunsama, and one thing that I am missing is being able to pull in emails that I can turn into tasks, or simply create reminders with them.

  14. Automatically continue timer after hitting goal

When the timer hits the time estimated the timer automatically stops. This doesn't make any sense to me. Instead it should continue to track time and play some unique sounds when you're over timeβ€”but I need to accurately log my time and I will never stop my work just because the "timer" is up. I almost never hit on "target," I'm either over or under.
