  1. Offline Mode

Even though most folks using this app will use it for work with internet being on, but sometimes there's power outages and other misc disconnection issues, and i personally just start prepping or pushing through tasks without the need for internet I've just tried turning off the internet, and the app gets stuck trying to create a task (create a list works fine though)

  2. Restore Blitzit account access

We are currently working on restoring account access for Blitzit users. The team is actively resolving the issue and bringing services back to normal. Access should be fully restored within the next 24–48 hours. Further updates will be shared as progress continues over email, discord, and facebook group.

  3. Self-hosting capabilities?

It would be dope if we could self-host Blitzit on our own NAS servers.

  4. Ability to add tags to the task

When I create multiple tasks in terms of one project, I would like to have the ability to segment tasks with some tasks (e.g. when I develop a single application, I would like to split tasks into backend, frontend, marketing, etc.) for more clarity

  5. Gmail integration

I’m actually switching from Sunsama, and one thing that I am missing is being able to pull in emails that I can turn into tasks, or simply create reminders with them.

  6. Ability to create groups of lists on the homepage sidebar

The left sidebar on the homepage is great but feels limited. It would be cool to use this to create groups of lists. Ex. I use the app for both work and personal items. If I could create a list group for all of my freelance clients, one for personal, etc, it would be helpful to get in the zone on specific goals.

  7. Idea: Show the floating widget on all macOS desktops

I often use multiple virtual desktops (Spaces) on macOS and switch between them with trackpad swipes. Currently, the minimal floating widget in Btilzit (showing the current task and timer) stays only on the desktop where it was opened. When switching to another desktop, the widget disappears. It would be very useful if the widget could be visible across all desktops, so the current task and timer remain visible regardless of which Space is active. Some similar apps (for example Session) already show their floating timer on all desktops, which makes it much easier to keep track of time while switching contexts.

  9. Audio interruption in macOS when opening “Show Notes” in the task scheduler while using AirPods

Hello, I noticed a reproducible issue when using the task scheduler on macOS. When I click the “Show Notes” icon to add a text note, my audio playback is briefly affected if I am listening to music through AirPods. The behavior is the following: I am listening to music via AirPods. In the task scheduler, I click “Show Notes” to add a note. The music immediately pauses/interferes for a moment. Then it resumes for a few seconds but with noticeably lower audio quality (similar to the headset/microphone mode). After a few seconds, the audio returns to normal quality. My assumption is that this might be related to the voice dictation feature available in the notes field. It seems that the system temporarily switches the AirPods to microphone/headset mode, even though I am not activating voice input or using the microphone. Additional info: • OS: macOS • Audio device: AirPods • Action that triggers the issue: clicking “Show Notes” in the scheduler Please let me know if you need any additional information or logs to help investigate this issue. Thank you.

  10. Add a 'Keep Screen Awake' option in the Android app to prevent the screen from turning off during active focus sessions

When using Blitzit on Android during an active Blitz/focus session, the screen turns off after the device's default timeout, which breaks focus and acts as an unwanted distraction. A 'Keep Screen Awake' toggle (ideally auto-enabled during an active timer session, or available in Settings) would prevent this. This is especially useful for users who rely on the floating timer as a constant visual reminder to stay on task. Many productivity and timer apps implement this using Android's WAKE_LOCK permission. It would be great if this activates automatically when a Blitz session starts and releases when the session is paused or ended to preserve battery

  11. Eisenhower Matrix: Prioritization Technique

Use this feature to help you quickly organize your tasks in order of priority by dragging into relevant buckets that help you decide how important a task is. Based on this tasks will automatically move to specific schedules or list columns.

  13. Automatically continue timer after hitting goal

When the timer hits the time estimated the timer automatically stops. This doesn't make any sense to me. Instead it should continue to track time and play some unique sounds when you're over time—but I need to accurately log my time and I will never stop my work just because the "timer" is up. I almost never hit on "target," I'm either over or under.

  14. Spotify Integration

I would like to be able to start playing a 'focus' playlist when a task is active

  15. Apple Reminders Integration

Sync with reminders, 2-way if possible. You can already create separate lists which could sync with the lists you create within the reminders app. Lots of people's flows are dependent on them, will be able to integrate with other apps subsequently.
