  1. Akiflow Integration

Akiflow is the central repository for my task and project management but I love the features of Blitzit. An integration between them to sync task lists from Akiflow and then use Blitzit as my driver for the day would be amazing.

  2. Apple Reminders Integration

Sync with reminders, 2-way if possible. You can already create separate lists which could sync with the lists you create within the reminders app. Lots of people's flows are dependent on them, will be able to integrate with other apps subsequently.

  3. Export notes in tasks

If you use and try to keep notes to keep yourself on task, they seem to just live there, and you cannot pull them out. When I work on a project, I may need to go back to the notes to understand why I went a path I did. Having a way to search the notes or create a notebook for a list would be helpful.

  4. Eisenhower Matrix: Prioritization Technique

Use this feature to help you quickly organize your tasks in order of priority by dragging into relevant buckets that help you decide how important a task is. Based on this tasks will automatically move to specific schedules or list columns.

  5. Automatically continue timer after hitting goal

When the timer hits the time estimated the timer automatically stops. This doesn't make any sense to me. Instead it should continue to track time and play some unique sounds when you're over timeβ€”but I need to accurately log my time and I will never stop my work just because the "timer" is up. I almost never hit on "target," I'm either over or under.

  6. Focus sounds/music

A library of focus soundscapes such as lofi music, ocean, nature, coffee shops etc... You can also add your own soundscapes via URLs. Set it to play default collections during Blitz Mode (Focus Session).

  7. Task from sent email

It would be great to be able to create a task by forwarding it to an address in the app. This will create a new task. It works the same way in the Todoist app.

  8. Focus mode (with timer) in the menu bar instead of floating on screen

Would love to see focus mode collapse into menu bar so it doesn't take up real estate.

  9. Live Activities in Mobile app

The addition of a Lock Screen Live Activities widget to the upcoming Blitzit mobile app would be a game-changer. This feature would allow users to see their active focus mode tasks and timer at a glance without having to unlock their phone or open the app. Benefits I see in Live Activities integration: Seamless Productivity: Users can stay on track with their tasks and focus timers right from the Lock Screen. Faster Access: Reduces the friction of constantly opening the app to check progress. Increased Engagement: Encourages users to stay in the flow by keeping their current task visible at all times. This would be especially useful for those using the Pomodoro technique or time-tracking features. I believe it would enhance the overall user experience and make Blitzit even more intuitive for mobile users! A mock-up is attached of what it could potentially look like. LET'S MAKE THIS HAPPEN!!!

  10. Calendar View

Instead of just showing the daily task bar, have a calendar/week view as well to be able to add tasks to specific dates and see whats upcoming in terms of events over time. To plan over a longer time span...

  11. Ability to detach a subtask and turn it into a standalone task.

When working on a large-scale project spanning several days and involving many subtasks, it can be helpful to detach one of these subtasks and convert it into an independent task, scheduled for the current day.

  12. Billeable Hours + Invoicing

As a freelancer, when I work with large-scale projects where I don't know how long exactly it will take me to complete, having an accurate record of the hours is my best bet. If the app calculates how much the project costs as it progresses, and write a report for clients, it would save a lot of time in looking for other platforms.

  13. Coloured Tasks

It would be really helpful to have colour-coded tasks. When all tasks appear in the same colour, lists can become hard to scan. Using colours like red, green, blue, yellow, or amber would make it much easier to visually prioritise tasks at a glance.

  14. Ability to add tags to the task

When I create multiple tasks in terms of one project, I would like to have the ability to segment tasks with some tasks (e.g. when I develop a single application, I would like to split tasks into backend, frontend, marketing, etc.) for more clarity

  15. Webhook Integration

For most integration you will probably use webhooks to do them. It would be helpful if you could make a Webhook API (which you will probably use and have anyway) and give us the chance to make custom webhooks. This would make integrations possible to get or send data from other 3rd party apps. With a Custom Webhook component we could use any automation tool like make.com or zapier.com, as well as other WebApps that want to create support for it. I think this can be a big leaver to make your app accessable in many other Situations.
