  1. Focus mode toggle in OSX (Command Shift T) overrides Chromes Reopen Last Close Tab shortcut

I often use Command+Shift+T in Chrome to reopen the last closed tab but Blitzit overrides this as toggling focus mode. I don't see anywhere to unmap/turn off this shortcut in Blitzit

  4. Eisenhower Matrix: Prioritization Technique

Use this feature to help you quickly organize your tasks in order of priority by dragging into relevant buckets that help you decide how important a task is. Based on this tasks will automatically move to specific schedules or list columns.

  6. See more than one line of the title when in blitzit mode.

Most of my tasks are more than 3 words long, which is unfortunate because in the blitzit mode (the tall list on the side of my screen) each entry only shows about 3 words. and there is no way I can hover to see more, edit the timers, etc. the hover states that show the different actions, and then them having individual hover states that move things around to show the labels is clunky and really hard to use without like... super clearly positioning my mouse. There isnt an easy way to see the full title of the item either, which for me is an issue because my tasks are usually like a sentence long. My suggestions would be to allow the text to flow to 2-4 lines, and then truncate, and then show if hovered. Second suggestion is to ditch the hover effect buttons for taking a break, extending, completing, etc, and put those icon on the task itself, or use a action dropdown (complete, but with an arrow that pulls down additional options) to help make things easier.

  8. Do Date vs Due Date

It would be great if due dates and "do dates" were incorporated into BlitzIt where if the due date is approaching, the task would automatically go into "Today". The scheduling feature I use mostly as a "do" date but it would be beneficial to know when the deadline for something is quickly approaching as we ADHDers tend to be deadline blind and get overwhelmed with many tasks.

  9. List Ordering

Would be nice if I could could drag to re-order my lists in the "All my lists" view. Currently they are sorted by creation date.

  10. Week & Month view, and drag tasks between days

Blitzit is awesome! Enjoying the focus and simplicity. One thing that I really miss from my other to do app (Upbase) is the ability to view and drag and drop tasks between days (week view and month view). That helps me manage my work activities much better, so I'm not overwhelmed on any single day. So while Blitzit excels in the focus area now, I feel it's missing in the mid-term planning of tasks and my workflow is incomplete.

  11. Add time to Subtasks

Allowing adding time to each subtask. The main task time should >= the sum time of all sub tasks. Adding progress bar to main task and when a subtask is completed, the progress of the main task should be updated. progress += subtask time / main task time. Auto update main task time if subset time sum is larger. The main task time should be defaulted to the sum of subtask time.

  12. Billeable Hours + Invoicing

As a freelancer, when I work with large-scale projects where I don't know how long exactly it will take me to complete, having an accurate record of the hours is my best bet. If the app calculates how much the project costs as it progresses, and write a report for clients, it would save a lot of time in looking for other platforms.

  13. Blitz Now 2.0 - Procrastinate NO more!

Overview "Blitz Now 2.0" is a proposed enhancement for the existing task and productivity feature. It's designed to help users manage their tasks even more effectively. Likewise, feature enhancement aims to combat user procrastination habits by breaking tasks down into more manageable daily tasks, which fosters an environment of improved confidence and motivation to "GET IT DONE" How It Works Users have the option to set a start date for tasks. Once a date is entered, the system calculates daily time allotments based on the task's duration period (start date/time to end date/time). The Blitz Now feature enhancement uses subtasks to breakdown tasks, create accountability, and improves time tracking. For example, every day the task appears in the "Today" column. Once the daily assigned subtask is completed, the Task moves back to "This Week" in preparation for the next day's task. Benefits Reduces procrastination by making tasks less daunting through daily, achievable goals.Builds self-efficacy, enhancing users' belief in their ability to manage tasks effectively.Enhances intrinsic motivation by demonstrating progress and mastery, aligning with self-determination theory.Improves time management with clear daily objectives and reduces cognitive overload (overwhelming feeling) by focusing on daily portions. Detailed Feature Description The "Blitz Now 2.0" feature introduces three main components, as outlined in the draft: Start Date/Time Input Field: Users can optionally set a start date and time for tasks, revealing an input field when selected. This complements the existing "Schedule" function, which is used for due dates.Calculated Duration Period Field: The system calculates the time span from the start date to the due date, forming the basis for daily time allocations.Subtask Estimated Completion Time: For tasks with subtasks, users can input estimated completion times, which are aggregated for calculations. If no subtasks exist, the system uses the total task time to generate hidden daily subtasks. How It Works: Assuming a user creates a task (no subtasks), upon setting a start date the Blitzit.app performs an automatic duration calculation and then creates daily subtasks with time allocations. For example, if a task requires 5 hours to complete over a 5 day period (from Monday to Friday), Blitz will creates five subtasks (1 hour duration) to be completed each day. For tasks with user created subtasks, the duration calculation is based on the number of tasks + estimated times / divided by the number of days. For instance, 10 subtasks totaling 7.5 hours over 5 days would suggest 1.5 hours allocation per day. Assigning tasks based on estimated time and how many tasks need to be completed each day. Likewise, the order of subtasks determines task priority and order of completion. For example, the order of subtasks is like creating steps in a workflow or process, ensuring a structured approach to ensuring tasks are completed efficiently. Once tasks are created, on the start day, the task will begin appearing in the "Today" column and added to the Blitz Now queue. Upon subtask completion, the task moves back to the "This Week" column, ready for the next day's allocation. This mechanism ensures continuous productivity progress and accountability.

  14. Ability to re-order lists in non-chronological order (& pin important lists)

I frequently tend to create some lists that don't particularly fit one of my bigger projects, which ends up pushing them further down the list. So one of my main (and earliest created) playlists is for my YouTube channel which I tend to use frequently ends ups getting buried a bit further down when I create other smaller lists meant for shorter projects. It's not the end of the world if I have to scroll down to get to my highest priority lists, but due to my ADHD, it does cause some resistance which in turn creates a feeling of not wanting to use the app as often. Either allowing users to move around the order of lists or simply allowing us to pin the most important ones would be great.

  15. Ability to adjust volume of sound effects independently

The sound effects in Blitzit are very loud in relation to other media volume output through speakers or headphones/earphones and I struggle to control their volume from my computer settings. If I have my playlist on as soft background the chime is VERY loud in comparison. I have hearing sensitivities with my neurodivergence and when i use the timed alerts to keep me on task, it can be painful or shocking rather than a gentle reminder to stay focussed. In the spirit of accessibility, would really like the ability to have more control sound effect volume because the chime and animated flash really do help me heelp focussed on my task if i'm zoning out or it's a boring af bit of work
