  3. Eisenhower Matrix: Prioritization Technique

Use this feature to help you quickly organize your tasks in order of priority by dragging into relevant buckets that help you decide how important a task is. Based on this tasks will automatically move to specific schedules or list columns.

  4. Ability to add tags to the task

When I create multiple tasks in terms of one project, I would like to have the ability to segment tasks with some tasks (e.g. when I develop a single application, I would like to split tasks into backend, frontend, marketing, etc.) for more clarity

  5. Automatically continue timer after hitting goal

When the timer hits the time estimated the timer automatically stops. This doesn't make any sense to me. Instead it should continue to track time and play some unique sounds when you're over timeβ€”but I need to accurately log my time and I will never stop my work just because the "timer" is up. I almost never hit on "target," I'm either over or under.

  6. Option for 24h time for scheduled tasks

It'd be great to have an option to switch to a 24h time format for scheduling tasks - the mental conversion is easy, but it would save clicks to not need to set AM/PM if you prefer 24h anyways.

  7. Webhook Integration

For most integration you will probably use webhooks to do them. It would be helpful if you could make a Webhook API (which you will probably use and have anyway) and give us the chance to make custom webhooks. This would make integrations possible to get or send data from other 3rd party apps. With a Custom Webhook component we could use any automation tool like make.com or zapier.com, as well as other WebApps that want to create support for it. I think this can be a big leaver to make your app accessable in many other Situations.

  9. Focus mode (with timer) in the menu bar instead of floating on screen

Would love to see focus mode collapse into menu bar so it doesn't take up real estate.

  10. Request for Linux Version of Blitzit

Hello Blitzit Team, I hope this message finds you well. As an avid user of Blitzit, I've been immensely impressed by the app's functionality and efficiency in managing tasks and schedules. The ease of use and features have made it an integral part of my daily routine. Need Identification: I'd like to bring to your attention the rapidly growing community of Linux users, a vibrant and passionate group that's continually seeking versatile and efficient applications. As the use of Linux systems expands across various domains, the absence of Blitzit on this platform is felt by many. Request Description: My humble request is for the development of a dedicated Linux version of Blitzit. The inclusion of a Linux version would not only cater to the needs of existing users but also extend the reach of Blitzit to a wider audience, embracing the diverse preferences of users across operating systems. The demand for a Linux version of Blitzit is palpable within the community. Discussions on various forums, surveys, and user feedback consistently echo the desire for a Linux-compatible release. I am personally ready to support the development and testing phase to ensure a smooth transition to the Linux platform. Closing and Appreciation: In conclusion, I earnestly request the consideration of this proposal. Your commitment to improving Blitzit has been commendable, and the addition of a Linux version would undoubtedly mark a significant step forward. Your attention to this matter would be immensely appreciated. Thank you for your time and dedication to creating exceptional user experiences. Warm regards, Mohamed Khedr

  11. Introducing a Web-Based Version of Blitzit for Enhanced Accessibility Across Devices

As a dedicated user of Blitzit, I have found the application instrumental in managing tasks across various facets of my life, including family responsibilities, Masters program tasks, and of course work tasks. However, due to restrictions on installing third-party software on my work computer, I'm unable to access Blitzit during work hours, which disrupts my productivity. To address this challenge, I propose the development of a web-based version of Blitzit. A browser-accessible platform would eliminate the need for software installation, thereby allowing users to access their task lists and productivity tools from any device with internet connectivity. This enhancement would be particularly beneficial for users like myself who face installation barriers on work devices, as well as for those who utilize multiple devices throughout their day. My suggestion is to focus on core functionalities, not necessarily a full feature parity with the app. This streamlined approach would allow users to access essential features via a web browser without the need for software installation, ensuring seamless task management across devices. IBy offering a web-based platform with fundamental features, Blitzit can maintain its commitment to enhancing productivity while encouraging users to install the full application for a more comprehensive experience when possible. This approach aligns with Blitzit's mission to supercharge productivity by providing flexible and accessible tools, catering to users facing installation constraints on certain devices. Thanks for the consideration and keep up the great work!

  12. Billeable Hours + Invoicing

As a freelancer, when I work with large-scale projects where I don't know how long exactly it will take me to complete, having an accurate record of the hours is my best bet. If the app calculates how much the project costs as it progresses, and write a report for clients, it would save a lot of time in looking for other platforms.

  13. Add Task using Siri

I recently switched from Motion to Blitzit. One of my favorite features in Motion was the ability to add tasks by using siri. I would just speak the task and Siri would add it to my calendar. I would love to see that with Blitzit

  15. Notion integration: More options and settings

When using Notion to manage task, the integration is missing many options and settings. Missing settings and options: Tasks sorting: When adding notion tasks, they are added in random order so if you have a lot of task, it takes a while to find the ones you want. It would be helpful to sort task by mapping a property or using the sorting of a specific view.View filtering: There's not all task in Notion that I want to see in blitz. It would be helpful to be able to link lists to a specific view of a database and not the entire database.Property mapping: It would be really helpful to be able to map more fields. If you already have an estimated time to the task and already scheduled it in Notion, we should be able to automatically sync it and not have the add estimated time and schedule it a second time. It would be great to be able to map as many property to have all information in Blitzit like select fields, checkbox fields and relations.Notes importation: It would be helpful to automatically add notes take in blitzit to the task's page in Notion.
