  1. Webhook Integration

For most integration you will probably use webhooks to do them. It would be helpful if you could make a Webhook API (which you will probably use and have anyway) and give us the chance to make custom webhooks. This would make integrations possible to get or send data from other 3rd party apps. With a Custom Webhook component we could use any automation tool like make.com or zapier.com, as well as other WebApps that want to create support for it. I think this can be a big leaver to make your app accessable in many other Situations.

  2. Ability to detach a subtask and turn it into a standalone task.

When working on a large-scale project spanning several days and involving many subtasks, it can be helpful to detach one of these subtasks and convert it into an independent task, scheduled for the current day.

  3. Ability to add tags to the task

When I create multiple tasks in terms of one project, I would like to have the ability to segment tasks with some tasks (e.g. when I develop a single application, I would like to split tasks into backend, frontend, marketing, etc.) for more clarity

  5. Sync Blitz tasks to Google Calendar

I would like my tasks that are scheduled with a time to show on my Google Calendar, but I don't want my calendar items to show in Blitz as it is way too much stuff. By showing the tasks in my calendar it will help keep me on track when I am not looking at Blitz, and make sure I don't overbook myself between Blitz and my calendar items.

  6. Eisenhower Matrix: Prioritization Technique

Use this feature to help you quickly organize your tasks in order of priority by dragging into relevant buckets that help you decide how important a task is. Based on this tasks will automatically move to specific schedules or list columns.

  7. Week & Month view, and drag tasks between days

Blitzit is awesome! Enjoying the focus and simplicity. One thing that I really miss from my other to do app (Upbase) is the ability to view and drag and drop tasks between days (week view and month view). That helps me manage my work activities much better, so I'm not overwhelmed on any single day. So while Blitzit excels in the focus area now, I feel it's missing in the mid-term planning of tasks and my workflow is incomplete.

  8. Connect everyting: API needed

For the future of work, especially with AI agents, an API is must-have. Webhook is a step towards the right direction but an API should be on the roadmap as soon as possible!!!

  9. Live Activities in Mobile app

The addition of a Lock Screen Live Activities widget to the upcoming Blitzit mobile app would be a game-changer. This feature would allow users to see their active focus mode tasks and timer at a glance without having to unlock their phone or open the app. Benefits I see in Live Activities integration: Seamless Productivity: Users can stay on track with their tasks and focus timers right from the Lock Screen. Faster Access: Reduces the friction of constantly opening the app to check progress. Increased Engagement: Encourages users to stay in the flow by keeping their current task visible at all times. This would be especially useful for those using the Pomodoro technique or time-tracking features. I believe it would enhance the overall user experience and make Blitzit even more intuitive for mobile users! A mock-up is attached of what it could potentially look like. LET'S MAKE THIS HAPPEN!!!

  12. Ability to re-order lists in non-chronological order (& pin important lists)

I frequently tend to create some lists that don't particularly fit one of my bigger projects, which ends up pushing them further down the list. So one of my main (and earliest created) playlists is for my YouTube channel which I tend to use frequently ends ups getting buried a bit further down when I create other smaller lists meant for shorter projects. It's not the end of the world if I have to scroll down to get to my highest priority lists, but due to my ADHD, it does cause some resistance which in turn creates a feeling of not wanting to use the app as often. Either allowing users to move around the order of lists or simply allowing us to pin the most important ones would be great.

  14. Import Task From a CSV

To enhance workflow efficiency, a feature is required to capitalize on AI-generated meeting transcripts and summaries. Given that AI can now effectively identify action items from discussions, we need a streamlined capability to import these tasks directly. It is essential that this import function supports organizing tasks into both primary lists and nested sublists to maintain structure. Implementing this feature is a high-priority requirement for optimizing our processes.

  15. 🌟 Gantt Chart / TimeLine / Swimline

After years using different tasks apps now really see that Blitzit can have the chance to be the first, BUT, please just include a Gantt Chart linking each Task Lists, why? check: Clear Progress Visualization: Provides a visual representation of task progress, aiding project understanding. Planning and Organization: Helps users organize tasks, deadlines, and relationships effectively. Dependency Identification: Highlights task dependencies, crucial for efficient time and resource management. Easy Tracking: Allows users to track project progress and make necessary adjustments easily. Enhanced Communication: Serves as a clear communication tool among team members and stakeholders. Increased Productivity: Helps teams prioritize tasks and focus on key objectives. Integration with Other Tools: Can be integrated with reminders and notifications for improved user experience. Added Value for Users: Differentiates the app in the market, attracting users seeking comprehensive project management tools. User-Friendly: Intuitive interface for creating and modifying Gantt charts easily. Higher User Retention: Offers valuable tools that increase long-term user engagement.
