We are reworking core parts of Blitzit to improve stability, performance, and day to day usability. After the recent outage, a big part of this update is focused on making the product more independent and reliable. When the timer hits the time estimated the timer automatically stops. This doesn't make any sense to me. Instead it should continue to track time and play some unique sounds when you're over time—but I need to accurately log my time and I will never stop my work just because the "timer" is up. I almost never hit on "target," I'm either over or under.

It could be helpful to have a dedicated space within the list for daily ideas and important notes, rather than just adding them to tasks

Can we get a widget to put in our home screen/ desktop for apple?

i think this is very much needed in design oriented works. i sometimes need to note down an idea and attach the image with it.

Idea: Home screen, lock screen, notification centre widgets for Android, iOS, Windows 11, mac. Points: Widget shows a selected task list.Option to add multiple widgets (to see different lists on different widgets).Quick 'Add a Task ➕', 'Mark as Completed ✅' & 'Blitzit 🚀' button inside the widget.Option to change which list is being viewed by clicking on the list name. Almost, kind of widget like the Microsoft ToDo app has for Android.

When I create multiple tasks in terms of one project, I would like to have the ability to segment tasks with some tasks (e.g. when I develop a single application, I would like to split tasks into backend, frontend, marketing, etc.) for more clarity

Use this feature to help you quickly organize your tasks in order of priority by dragging into relevant buckets that help you decide how important a task is. Based on this tasks will automatically move to specific schedules or list columns.

Sync with reminders, 2-way if possible. You can already create separate lists which could sync with the lists you create within the reminders app. Lots of people's flows are dependent on them, will be able to integrate with other apps subsequently.

Blitzit is awesome! Enjoying the focus and simplicity. One thing that I really miss from my other to do app (Upbase) is the ability to view and drag and drop tasks between days (week view and month view). That helps me manage my work activities much better, so I'm not overwhelmed on any single day. So while Blitzit excels in the focus area now, I feel it's missing in the mid-term planning of tasks and my workflow is incomplete.

Show repeating tasks as one task (like in Microsoft ToDo)

For the future of work, especially with AI agents, an API is must-have. Webhook is a step towards the right direction but an API should be on the roadmap as soon as possible!!!

Would love to see focus mode collapse into menu bar so it doesn't take up real estate.

Receive break time suggestions and add your own. This way you spend meaningful breaks VS spending it mindlessly on a social media doom scroll.
