It would be great if due dates and "do dates" were incorporated into BlitzIt where if the due date is approaching, the task would automatically go into "Today". The scheduling feature I use mostly as a "do" date but it would be beneficial to know when the deadline for something is quickly approaching as we ADHDers tend to be deadline blind and get overwhelmed with many tasks.

More options like specific days in a week/month, every two days etc would be nice to have and more intuitive.

I’m actually switching from Sunsama, and one thing that I am missing is being able to pull in emails that I can turn into tasks, or simply create reminders with them.

When I create multiple tasks in terms of one project, I would like to have the ability to segment tasks with some tasks (e.g. when I develop a single application, I would like to split tasks into backend, frontend, marketing, etc.) for more clarity

Even though most folks using this app will use it for work with internet being on, but sometimes there's power outages and other misc disconnection issues, and i personally just start prepping or pushing through tasks without the need for internet I've just tried turning off the internet, and the app gets stuck trying to create a task (create a list works fine though)

For the future of work, especially with AI agents, an API is must-have. Webhook is a step towards the right direction but an API should be on the roadmap as soon as possible!!!

Moin everyone, I'd like to be able to customize the set of lists that are being shown. My Use Case: I got 3 work related lists and 2 lists for my personal projects. In the evening, I'd like to get the "Backlog", "This Week", "Today" view only with my private lists etc. Could you implement this feature? Would really help to organize and structure my live and focus on what matters. Best and Cheers, Justus

Hello Blitzit community, I've been loving it, but I'm hoping for more. I noticed that there's already a G Cal sync (read-only) and that Community-Led Gamification (including streaks/leaderboards) is planned. Here are a few focused asks that would make Blitzit my all-in-one (and a differentiator among competition): Apple Calendar write-back • Create events from scheduled blocks and/or completed sessions to a chosen calendar ("Focus"). • Options: choose target calendar; event title template (e.g., “A {project} - {minutes}m”); per-project color/tag; log scheduled vs. actual (or both); manual “Write now.” • Nice-to-have later: two-way edits (move a block in Calendar to updates Blitzit), with conflict handling.Personal habit/streaks (complementing community gamification) • Private streaks that don't require leaderboard participation. • Auto-complete rule: habit is done when I hit X pomodoros or Y minutes on a project/tag. • Streak freeze/day off, reminders, widgets, and simple stats (success rate, 7/30-day trend). • Export (CSV) for sessions/habits.macOS window resizing & layout • Smaller minimum width (tiles at 1/3 or 1/2 screen), remember last size/position, better snap/tiling.Nice to have: alternate app icon/logo • Option to pick from a few icons (light/dark/monochrome), plus theming tweaks. I would like to be able to start playing a 'focus' playlist when a task is active

When the timer hits the time estimated the timer automatically stops. This doesn't make any sense to me. Instead it should continue to track time and play some unique sounds when you're over time—but I need to accurately log my time and I will never stop my work just because the "timer" is up. I almost never hit on "target," I'm either over or under.

Most of my tasks are more than 3 words long, which is unfortunate because in the blitzit mode (the tall list on the side of my screen) each entry only shows about 3 words. and there is no way I can hover to see more, edit the timers, etc. the hover states that show the different actions, and then them having individual hover states that move things around to show the labels is clunky and really hard to use without like... super clearly positioning my mouse. There isnt an easy way to see the full title of the item either, which for me is an issue because my tasks are usually like a sentence long. My suggestions would be to allow the text to flow to 2-4 lines, and then truncate, and then show if hovered. Second suggestion is to ditch the hover effect buttons for taking a break, extending, completing, etc, and put those icon on the task itself, or use a action dropdown (complete, but with an arrow that pulls down additional options) to help make things easier.

It should be possible to pin the timer to one place for the whole time, even if I closed Blitzit, the next time it should appear in the same place.
