Feature Request: Task Status
This would allow users to assign a generic status to the task (i.e. On Hold, In Progress, In Review, Blocked, Ready to Start, Needs info, etc.)

Add a Hands-Free Conversation Mode for Blitzy AI
Feature Request: Blitzy already supports voice input, which is a great way to capture tasks quickly. However, the interaction still feels like texting with speech recognition: I record my voice. The recording is transcribed into text.I press the checkmark to submit it.Blitzy replies with text.I have to stop and read the response before continuing. I'd love to see an optional Hands-Free Conversation Mode where interacting with Blitzy feels like talking to a real AI assistant. For example: Me: "Good morning, Blitzy." Blitzy: "Good morning! You have six tasks scheduled today. Two are high priority, and one is overdue." Me: "Move the overdue task to this afternoon." Blitzy: "Done." Me: "What should I work on first?" Blitzy: "I'd recommend finishing your RingCentral setup first since it's short, high priority, and scheduled for this morning." The conversation would continue naturally without needing to constantly switch between speaking, tapping buttons, and reading text. Some features that would make this experience even better: Voice responses using natural-sounding text-to-speech.Continuous back-and-forth conversation without manually submitting every message.Wake word support (optional) for quick access. The ability to interrupt or ask follow-up questions naturally.A push-to-talk mode for users who prefer manual activation. This would be especially valuable while: DrivingWalkingCookingWorking with both hands occupiedFocusing on deep work without breaking concentration I believe this would make Blitzy feel less like an AI chat window and more like a genuine productivity assistant. Combined with future improvements to task querying and prioritization, it could become one of the most natural and efficient ways to manage daily work.

Give Blitzy AI the Ability to Query and Summarize My Tasks
After experimenting with Blitzy, I noticed that it already has impressive task creation and editing capabilities. For example, if I reference a task using the @ selector, Blitzy can update or move that task between lists without any issues. However, it doesn't appear to have the ability to query my task data. For example, I asked: How many tasks are in my Imported Tasks list? What tasks are in my Imported Tasks list? Blitzy knew the list existed, but it couldn't access the tasks within it or answer those questions. I'd love to see Blitzy gain the ability to query the task database so it can answer natural-language questions about my workload, such as: What do I have scheduled this afternoon? What's due tomorrow? What's overdue?Show me everything in my Action Plan list. What are my highest-priority tasks?Which tasks don't have a due date? How much work do I have planned today? What did I accomplish this week?Give me a quick summary of tomorrow.Which tasks haven't been updated in a while? Once Blitzy can access and reason over the task data it already manages, it could also provide simple productivity guidance based on existing task metadata, such as: What should I work on next? What are my top three priorities today?Does today's workload look realistic?Do I have enough time scheduled to complete everything today? These recommendations could be based on information Blitzit already has access to, including: Due datesPriorityScheduled dates and timesEstimated durationListsTagsCompleted tasksCalendar availability I'm not suggesting that Blitzy become a full project management AI. I simply think it would be incredibly valuable if it could become a conversational interface for our task data. Many AI assistants can create tasks. Far fewer can answer questions about your workload and help you understand what needs your attention. I believe this would be a meaningful feature that would make Blitzy an even more valuable productivity assistant.

"monitor" status before done for tasks that don't depend on you
I would like to suggest adding another status called 'Monitor'. I know there is currently Backlog, This Week, Today, and Done. Perhaps the 'Monitor' status could be positioned on the right side, splitting the space vertically with 'Done'. There are certain things you do on your end but then have to wait for feedback or something else before they fully complete. I would ideally like to review these 'Monitor' items once a week and have a way to track them there.

Ability to add tags to the task
When I create multiple tasks in terms of one project, I would like to have the ability to segment tasks with some tasks (e.g. when I develop a single application, I would like to split tasks into backend, frontend, marketing, etc.) for more clarity

Gmail integration
Iβm actually switching from Sunsama, and one thing that I am missing is being able to pull in emails that I can turn into tasks, or simply create reminders with them.

Automatically continue timer after hitting goal
When the timer hits the time estimated the timer automatically stops. This doesn't make any sense to me. Instead it should continue to track time and play some unique sounds when you're over timeβbut I need to accurately log my time and I will never stop my work just because the "timer" is up. I almost never hit on "target," I'm either over or under.
